Jennifer Luke, DVM
Dr. Jennifer Luke was born in Chicago and grew up in the suburb of
Palatine. She graduated as a Presidential Scholar from Knox College with
a triple major — biology, chemistry and psychology. She then went on to
complete her professional studies at the University of Illinois and
received her doctorate of veterinary medicine in 1991. After graduation,
she moved to California, taking a job at a small animal and exotics
practice for three years.
Nancyann Rutledge, Hospital Manager
I’m Nancyann Rutledge and I’m pleased to be the manager here at
Tierrasanta Veterinary Hospital. I have loved animals since early
childhood. I grew up on a small farm in Southern California surrounded
by pets and miscellaneous livestock. As an adult, I have always had
whatever kind of pets were permissible wherever I lived including dogs,
cats, hamsters, rabbits, tropical fish, aquatic turtles (yellow-eared
sliders), and a golden gecko. My current animal companion is a
miniature American Eskimo dog named Sadie adopted in 2005 from the
humane society as a six-year-old dog who had been left behind by two
previous families. I am honored to be her forever family and Dr. Luke
helps me keep her healthy as she advances into her venerable elder-dog
years.
I come to Tierrasanta Veterinary Hospital with two decades of management
experience in the health services field, both human and animal. I love
being part of the amazing TVH team and look forward to providing our
signature exceptional service to all of our clients and their furred,
feathered, clawed and scaled friends!
Nicole Moore, Care Specialist
Hi, I'm Nicole. I have a Boxer/American Bulldog named Bella,
and she is my little girl. I have 2 Scottish Fold cats named Angel and
Darling. I have had them for 13 years. I really love reptiles, too,
and will soon have a chameleon family member. I love helping people and
their pets, and I love meeting you all when you come to our hospital.
Tasha Rodriguez, Outpatient Veterinary Technician
Hi, my name is Tasha Rodriguez. I have 3 adorable chihuahuas at home
named Cooper, Bella and Pixie. I always loved animals growing up so I
decided to pursue a career in the animal field. I graduated from Pima
Medical Institute in February 2010. I was hired here at Tierrasanta
Veterinary Hospital later that same month as a kennel assistant. After a
few months of working here, I moved up to the outpatient technician
position working the rooms with Dr. Luke. I love what I am doing here
and it is truly my dream job!
